We are in the middle of a downpour as I write. DTV rarely goes out on us, but seems to be about to give up the ghost and the lights are flashing sporadically . Spring can't get here soon enough for me!

Yikes, sounds like hurricaine season down this way, only colder. My mom is a nut about being prepared and because of her we have crank radios and lights and all sorts of little appliances to charge a cell phone. She's got us hooked up. Of course, the last time the power went out I could not find any of them.
