We got up from a nap to the doorbell ringing. Apparently my neighbor got robbed last night. He came home from an evening out to find all his electronics, games, his kids games, just everything worth anything gone. The back of his house faces mine with a 20 foot greenbelt between us. Pretty scary. He wanted to know if I saw anything or heard anything. I didn’t. I started thinking later though that if I had seen something, I am not sure I would have known to call the cops. I mean unless they were wearing ski masks and had guns, I am not sure I would have known. I feel bad for him nonetheless. He does have renters insurance though so at least he will get everything replaced.

I got my lights up tonight. I kinda rock sometimes. My roof is probably 12 or 14 feet high so to get the lights up there I moved my coffee table outside, put the ladder on top of that and then climbed up. Easy peasy. And they look nice too. Not perfect or professional but nice and festive.

I also got the sheets changed and flipped the foam mattress on my bed today. What a difference that makes!
