redundancy

I often feel like I am stuck in a rut. Go to work, come home, take care of Alex, clean the house, go to bed, lather, rinse, repeat. I am not necessarily unhappy with this pattern, it is just pretty boring sometimes.

I say this as I am doing the 5th load of laundry in 4 days. How 1 adult and child can go through so many pieces of clothes in 7 days is beyond me. Alex is sick again too and I think this adds to the “will this train ever stop” feeling.

We went to the Santa parade today. It was a last minute spur of the moment decision. It was a lot of fun, Alex had a blast. He pointed out ever truck in the parade and every truck that passed us on the road before the parade started. There were a lot of frickin trucks. He waved at everyone that passed by and the mayor was stopped in front of us and she saw Alex and he got a special wave. Awwwwwwwwww.

I saw a window display with some kick ass sexy boots that I want. Ok so I probably would never wear them but it does make me miss my pre-baby body. Especially the pre c-section stomach I had.

Church tomorrow and work on Monday. See what I mean?

I know what you mean, my kids wore me out 24-7 for 14 years, but now they are all grown and gone and I wish I could have them small again even if for just one day…It makes me so sad I can’t even stand to watch our old home movies. Guess that’s what grandkids are for!
