decorating

One of the things I like most about the Christmas season is decorating my house and of course, a tree. It seems like every year though I end up buying new Christmas lights and dumping the old ones because somehow they have gone bad simply sitting in the box.

I don’t get how they do it. The week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, I take the tree down and they are all working. A couple weeks before Christmas, I put the tree up and they don’t work. This year will be fun though with Alex “helping” me decorate. I have visions too, of presents being opened early, and me scrambling to re-wrap everything before they have to be delivered to people.
