I am learning that part of motherhood is giving your child the chocolate topping off a Hostess cupcake because he likes it, even though its your favorite part.

I have been looking at all kinds of children’s horse stuff online. Alex loves loves loves going on the ponies and I wanted to get an idea of how much rides, lessons, camps and stuff might be. They have the cutest equestrian riding apparel for kids on the market. So cute! Granted all that would be way off in the future but still, I like to have some idea of the finances.

Work is crazy busy. We have a major customer workshop coming up and that will mean chaos and business. More than usual.

I had dinner at my dad’s on Sunday. It was great to see Alex play with his uncle and grandpa and it was nice to visit with my step-mom. She made Rice Krispy Treats and oohhhhhhhhhhhhhh YUM!
