yikes life goes by fast

I realized tonight that I got involved in AAOnline ten years ago in November. That is scary to me! Obviously a bajillion things have changed both in me and in my life since then but still. I barely even recognize that girl!

Things have been super busy at home. Not in a bad way, just in a life way. You know you have an exciting life when Friday night is spent doing laundry, catching up on email and writing out bills.

Work has been busy too in a “gitter done” sort of way. Just things in and out and piling up and trying to stay on top of the piles.

I’d love to be able to pull that girl aside from 10 years ago and tell my former self that, really, it will be ok. Things are gonna be tough for a little while and you are going to go through suffering heartbreak, loss, grief, accomplishment and growth. Most of all though, you will truly be living and that makes everything ok.
