toddler tales
I have to say, I have had an interesting day being home with a sick baby. I have learned a few things though.
-If there is a single pile of poop in the backyard, my son will find it. Not only will he find it though, he will inevitably step in it.
-When you are 16 months old, helping means undoing whatever it is that was just done.
-When taking a nap, make it as short as possible if Mommy has fallen asleep with you. Yes, you might be cranky later but, it means that you get the element of surprise in your favor. When she tries to get you back to sleep by nursing, it is most effective to bite as hard as possible and then put a very cute grin on.
-Sweeping is fun.The only thing more fun is to sweep the dirt and leaves back on to the patio that Mommy just cleaned.
-It is best to wait for Mommy to get on a “very ‘portnant work call” to rile up the dog. Once you get him barking and you squealing, she will have to pay attention to you.
-Homemade pizza for dinner is good. Its even better when you are wearing a white shirt.
-When its time to have your nose wiped, run as fast as you can through the house giggling and shrieking. When you are caught, cry and scream like someone is pulling your toenails off.
-Flyswatters have many uses. Hitting the dog and the TV with it are just 2 of them.
-When you are being changed after pooping, make sure you grab some and try to wipe in on Mom. She will make all kinds of funny faces and sounds.
