misc stuff

Julie’s birthday party was really nice. Alex was (mostly) well behaved, especially since the house was not kid proofed and we were out way past his bedtime. I kinda had to do the 2 steps behind him at all times method tonight and it wore me out.

Alex has a cold so that explains the crappy sleeping as of late.

The weather is turning to fall. YAY! This also means I need some new winter clothes. I was really having a hard time using a bit of my child support to go and get a couple pairs of jeans and some warmer clothes. I talked to my mom though and she reminded me that for the last several months, I have paid everything. That all my bills are higher with having Alex and while yes, ideally that money could be saved for him, its ok to use some too.

Sunday is Funday Sunday at a park in Antelope. I am really looking forward to going with Alex. Bounce houses, face painting, the whole nine yards.

Alex is going to be a puppy for Halloween. I picked up a costume today for him and even though it was too small, he loved wearing it, hood and all. He normally hates things on his head so I was pleasantly surprised. Plus when he walks, his little butt makes the tail wag and its too dang cute. I need to go exchange it for the 24 month size. He is just too tall for the 18 month stuff already.
