family matters

I got to see my cousin and his wife, my aunt and uncle and my grandma tonight for dinner. It was nice. Really, really nice. Alex got to play with his cousins, 3 and 6. Both girls and they adored him and he them. They are sweet girls with very cute personalities. Alex and they played chase and catch me if you can in the backyard. He is worn out completely.

I really want to start spending more time with my cousin and his family. They have a lot of the same view on parenting I do and they are just good people. I forget how much I like them until I see them again.

My grandma flies out Monday morning. I am really going to miss her, even if watching tv with her means always having the closed captioning on. LOL She and I have gotten so much closer in the last year and a half. I need to start saving so that I can plan another trip back there for Alex and I.
