Birthday dinner 3.0

I went out tonight again for my birthday. Yay for not having to cook the last 3 nights!

It was really a nice night. It was just a dear friend, Alex and I. She left her kidlets at home with the hubby and we got to have a girls night out. Next year Alex will be too old to join us. That whole old age adage of little ears and big mouths. We went to a fancy schmancy French restaurant. I was dreading taking Alex only because its so not a kid place to go. He did so well! Even our waiter complimented him at the end. Whew! I know some people complain or simply dread seeing a little one at a restaurant and I was fully ready to make an escape if he became disruptive but… it was nice to know that he can behave. Minus of course the few pieces of bread he threw on the floor. I got all warm and fuzzy with pride to hear that compliment from the waiter. Go Alex!

Last night we went out to eat with my dad and step-mom. Oh how I love Fresh Choice. Its just plain good. Its free for Mr. Alex, healthy for me and there is so much to choose from. I got an awesome purse/diaper bag. It classy and big enough to hold everything yet small enough to not look like a diaper bag. It was nice too to spend time with my dad and step-mom. That relationship grows a little more each time we visit. I am a very loved and grateful brat.
