Unsure of what to do

I never really bothered to put any effort into making my blog high on the search engines. It was just a personal blog and it meant it was mainly for me. My actual domain (bratshannon.com) has a page ranking of 3 with Google. My blog is unranked by them because it is considered a file and therefore unrankable.

My choices:
Leave things as they are, miss out on opportunities through PayPerPost and other sites.
Point my domain to my blog and move everything else to link off my blog.

I’m unsure about a couple things:
1. Will I have to go through the approval processes again for my blog on the sites I have registered with to advertise for sponsors.
2. Will my page rankings change to unrated once it is just my blog.

Ideas? Feedback? Suggestions?
