My how time flies

I cannot believe my baby will be 11 months old in just a few days. It seems like just a couple months ago I was waddling out of work to go on maternity leave and eagaerly anticipating the prince’s arrival.

Everything here is copacetic. Alex and I have quickly gotten into a good routine. The days are long but it does make our time together very precious. I get long hugs and pats when I pick him up at daycare. I do love him so much. I didn’t really know what love was until I had my son.

Work is going well. I have transitioned into my new role rather smoothly. I am learning tons and the feedback I have gotten so far has been good. I am still hoping to hit the lottery but until then this is ok too.
