Two of my very dear friends from my old department came over to see me in my new department this morning. Totally unplanned neither one knew the other was doing it and they got here at the same time. It was SO good to see them. I knew I was feeling disconnected from that group. I just didn't realize just HOW disconnected I was feeling.
