Thursday night I went to a high school graduation. Now mind you... I baby sat for this child when I was 13 and she was 3. I babysat her and her brother, (older by 1 year) every Friday night for 6 years. I lost contact with them when I moved to MI and then reconnected last year at this time because the dad works at Intel. Its weird to see them all grown up. Yikes! Yesterday was the party and that was a lot of fun. I'm really grateful I went. Its nice to be such a part of a family.

My truck decided to die this week. It is the fuel pump like we've known, I was just hoping to put it off a little longer.

I got the bike attachment for Freedom to run with me. I ended up getting a Walkydog instead of a Springer because of the cost and I think this might be a better design for klutz-boy. We've gone out yesterday and Friday for short rides and yesterday was just comical. He stopped to poop once and I was still moving. Luckily I keep his collar loose enough all the time that he just slipped it, finish his thing and we took off again. He absolutely loves it. Its gonna be awhile before I can take him on very long rides and even then I'll have to watch his paws but for now, he is getting exercise and I love spending time with him.

I spent a lot of time today free writing and got some good realizations. A new poem came out of it along with some new things to process. I think that I have a tendency to stay in my circle of friends and I have been reminded as to why I do that. There are som seriously not nice people out there and well... I like to just deal with people's stuff until it effects SO badly that I can't anymore. I hit that threshold this weekend and while its healthy, I hate the crap that I know will ensue because of it.

So I think that is it... all in all I am doin ok. :)
